I wouldn’t call Ben Sollee and Daniel Martin Moore’s upcoming benefit show in Lexington a “secret,” but it hasn’t exactly been well publicized. Kentucky’s two finest young folk songwriters will be playing at the Red Mile Round Barn to benefit Institute 193, a group dedicated to “enriching the cultural landscape of Lexington.” Not sure what that means, but it sounds like something I’m in favor of. And a Ben Sollee/Daniel Martin Moore show is something I’m definitely in favor of.

And of course we’re still waiting for that Ben Sollee/DMM album that was produced by Jim James of My Morning Jacket. It looks to be the most Kentucky-centric album in recent memory.
