Just found out that Sambassadeur have a new album scheduled for Feb 2010. “Days” is the first single off the record and the only track from it I’ve heard thus far. Fingers crossed for a worthy follow up to all their other pop gems!

I remember having one fall (’06, maybe?) soundtracked by Sambassadeur and Acid House Kings. It’s really great music that captures the life and energy of the everyday, but keeps it delicate and fragile. Sambassadeur is great cold weather music — just because you’re wearing a jacket doesn’t mean that your heart doesn’t still beat as strongly.
