Them Bird Things @ Lost in Music Showcase 10.23.09

Apparently Them Bird Things is a collaboration between two American songwriters that have been around for a bit, Steve Blodgett & Mike Brassard, and the Finnish singer Salla Day. I only caught a couple songs, but I’d say they were a bit like Stevie Nicks being backed by Os Mutantes. There was a very heavy 60s pop vibe to it, which was more often than not a good thing.
