In a surprise move, Mark Oliver Everett’s group Eels is going to be releasing their new album End Times January 18 of next year — just six months after Hombre Lobo came out. I was a little let down with Hombre Lobo, but I think I’ll take to this one a little better. It was recorded mostly by E in his basement studio. Now hopefully there’ll be a tour that takes them somewhere near me…
