I was walking around town the other day listening to John Cale’s fantastic album Paris 1919 when it struck me that it had been quiet a while since I listened to Final Fantasy’s live cover of the title track. I’ve posted this here before, but consider it an excuse to revisit a great video.
And of course, Final Fantasy has a new album out next year called Heartland. Pitchfork got all the juicy details squeezed out yesterday. To tide you over until the inevitable leak/release day, here’s a video below of John Cale performing “Paris 1919″ with a full orchestra.
