As the rain set in, everyone sought out any covered areas they could. Luckily for the Antlers, that included the WOXY stage, which was conveniently located inside of the mountain. But no, this wasn’t a case of people having nowhere else to turn and being forced to watch a band. The Antlers’ crowd came there for a reason and stuck around for the long haul. Though the group is only three members, they had one of the fullest sounds of any band I caught at Monolith. That’s why it was a double bummer when a crackling mic made them start a song over. But they made up for it with a great performance of “Two.” Nothing like hearing a crowd sing along to a chorus that proclaims “Daddy was an asshole and he fucked you up.”
