I stumbled upon this song a week or so ago and just knew that I had to save it for when I was was in Denver (and possibly wasted. Hey, it’s that kind of town). I get in to Denver today for the Monolith Music Festival, which takes place this week. I’ll be snapping photos and jotting notes, so look for coverage to start Monday or earlier if I can get a minute to edit and upload photos. If you’re in the area, I’d highly suggest making it out to the festival — otherwise I’d suggest downloading this song.

Am I now a fan of the lo-fi revival of 08/09? No, I still don’t think so. I mean, I liked Love Actually but am not a chick flick frequenter. But no, there’s a shimmer and shake to “All of Denver is Wasted” that is both haunting and endearing. I wish I could get a clearer view of the whole picture here, but what Weed Diamond offer up is nice enough.
