The Books to play Lexington in September
August 26th, 2009 by Matt

Lexington has really been on a roll lately — or should I say that the hard working behind the scenes people have been on a roll lately. Here’s a concert I never thought I’d get to announce: the Book will be playing Lexington in September.
The Books (film/music performance)
at the Miller House
Monday, September 21
Doors at 7:30 | $15
proceeds to benefit the Miller House’s renovation fund
You Ain’t No Picasso is co-sponsoring this along with Bullhorn, blueline and WRFL. Proceeds from the event are going to benefit the restoration of the Miller House. And I don’t know 100% if I’m allowed to go into detail about the Books’ performance plans, but it’s going to be a show unique among the hundreds I’ve attended. Hope to see you there!
