Okkervil River were absolutely fantastic. If they ever come anywhere near me, I’ll pay good money to get to sit down and enjoy an entire set of theirs. I got to hear a lot of my favorite songs off their fantastic last record The Stage Names, but didn’t get to stay for my favorite song of theirs, “For Real.” Still, it was one of the most enjoyable shows I caught at Bonnaroo. Maybe it was because I hadn’t seen them in a while, but probably because they’re just that good.

And in addition to progressing leaps and bounds and performers, I’ve got to say that I’m a fan of Will’s beard. I don’t know if it’s a new addition, but he didn’t have it when I last saw them.
