Another casualty of the festival. I had to leave Andrew Bird almost as soon as I got there in order to catch Okkervil River. I’d seen Andrew Bird probably ten times and Okkervil River only once, so I knew I had to make a sacrifice. Still, it was great to see Andrew playing the secondary stage to a huge audience. I don’t know he could have made the leap back when it was just him and Dosh, but the bassist really helped his sound command the attention of the thousands watching.
