This version is just different enough from the original that I would normally include an MP3 of it for comparison. However, its a Prince song and I don’t feel like getting sued this week. Instead, just go out and pick up a new/used/vinyl/CD copy of Prince’s Purple Rain, enjoy it from start to finish and then re-listen to this cover.
