Karen says “no, thanks” to Kentucky’s David Pajo

Is it wrong that the biggest thing I took away from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ show is that David Pajo is now playing with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs? I apparently missed the memo on that one.

But the Yeah Yeah Yeahs looked and sounded great. I only got to hear a handful of songs I was really that familiar with, but everything sounded as tight as any band at Bonnaroo. Even when they had some technical problems with “Maps,” they just used it as an opportunity to play it acoustically. Way to turn a disaster into a treat for the fans, Karen & Co.
