David Crane from the fabulous pop group BOAT turned me on to The Nightgowns. I’m willing to bet they’re buddies, since the Nightgowns are a pop group also from the northeastern US. If not, YOU GUYS SHOULD TOTALLY BE BUDDIES. Sorry, I think a little bit of Dinosaur Comics got in the script today…

“Pppps” is about as cold as a pop song can be without getting to be too much of a bummer. Our protagonist is so in love what he’s always got something else he wants to tell his new love in his letters. “Pppps” is the letter form of “no YOU hang up first!” and it’s a lot less sickening than it sounds.
