Last night’s 30 Rock finale was fantastic. They pretty much tied up all loose ends of plot from this season in the past few episodes, leaving only one: Jack’s new dad needs a kidney.

The “Kidney Now!” song is just great. It’s being totally serious about the need for donors, but also gets some meta humor in there and pokes fun at the whole idea of celebrities singing for a cause (“Only three of us are drunk!”). Also, gotta say I was happy to see the Beastie Boys on there. Loved their verses:

“They say that two is better than one
but sometimes one is better than two.
If you had two heads, you’d wish you had one.
How is this different?
If you had two dogs attacking you, you’d want one.
There, we proved our point!”
