Kind of an old video here, but one that I'd never seen. This video from 2006 shows Dan and Ed goofing off and playing and singing "Knife" in the style of José González. I think Ed explained it best...
Hey, everyone. So what started out as Dan and I after a few drinks wanting to do a finger picking, à la José González cover of our own song, actually turned into something that really isn’t very José-ish. Although, it’s an open invitation to him. I mean you’ve covered the band “The Knife” why don’t you cover our song “Knife”? Thematically it makes sense, no? Anyhow, just saying if you cover Kylie . . .
