Whew. Consider me blown away. Matt Duncan was even better live than I thought he might be. He rounded out his regular band (of John Buckman, Trevor Tremaine, etc) with a brass section and it gave his songs the added oomph they needed to completely bowl me over. I’d only heard a few of his songs on Myspace, but loved everything he played. It’s funny; normally I get a little bored if it’s a set of pop songs that I’ve never heard before…. but with Matt, I never wanted it to end. Here’s hoping he gets a full CD recorded sooner or later.
