My mom studied under WTWTA creator Maurice Sendak in art school, so it’s no surprise that I was raised on his popular children’s book. In fact, judging by how many WTWTA tattoos I see out there, I guess everyone my age was. And now it’s almost time for us to enjoy the live action Where the Wild Things Are movie by director Spike Jonze (and screenplay by Jonze & Dave Eggers!). They’ve finally released a full length trailer for this beautiful work, including an alternate version of the Arcade Fire’s “Wake Up.”
