Whoa. WHAS is reporting that Billy Gillispie is no longer the men’s basketball coach at the University of Kentucky. What with the loss in the NIT, I won’t be terribly surprised if that’s true. Not sure if he’s been fired or chosen to move to a town that isn’t calling for his head, but neither would surprise me. I’m sure tomorrow there will be a lot on the Herald-Leader’s site, but WHAS is where it is at this moment.
