Billy Gillispie fired as UK head men’s basketball coach??

Whoa. WHAS is reporting that Billy Gillispie is no longer the men's basketball coach at the University of Kentucky. What with the loss in the NIT, I won't be terribly surprised if that's true. Not sure if he's been fired or chosen to move to a town that isn't calling for his head, but neither would surprise me. I'm sure tomorrow there will be a lot on the Herald-Leader's site, but WHAS is where it is at this moment. WHAS's coverage of the Billy Gillispie story UPDATE: UK issued a release saying WHAS' story isn't true. Stick with KSR for further updates.
