St. V has spent her time wisely since Marry Me. “The Stranger” sounds like a classical Italian song remixed with layered female vocals. Well, that is until about two-thirds through the song, where she she starts throwing surprises at us. Part of the ending sounds like we’re lost at sea in a storm, part of it sounds peaceful with acoustic guitar and church bells. I’d imagine this is what it’s like to be inside a woman’s mind…
