I’ve got to say that WRFL is doing a great job booking this semester. Lexington isn’t getting the biggest bands, but we’re getting tons that are on the cutting edge. In addition to the Women/Crystal Stilts show on March 16, now we’ve got the Ariel Pink/Vivian Girls to look forward to!

I’ve been quite bad about going to shows lately, but I can’t think of an excuse so serious it would make me miss this show. Sure, Ariel Pink put on the worst show I’ve ever seen… but it was solo and about four years ago. I’ve liked a song or two of his that I’ve heard and am ready to give him a second shot. And Vivian Girls? Well they’re just awesome.
