Looks like Puny Entertainment, the group behind “Yo Gabba Gabba!” is developing an animated kids TV show based on Robbert Bobbert — the children’s character alter ego of Robert Schnieder of the Apples in Stereo. How wild is that? Fingers crossed that Schneider gets to do the voice for it because, let’s face it, he already sounds as excited as a children’s cartoon character.
If I get the OK, I’ll publish some photos I took of Robert recording the album in his living room. Until then, just pick up the album or stream “We R Superheroes” on his myspace.
