I just got sent a link to this video of Malajube playing a new song off their upcoming album. Now, I don’t speak French and I don’t have the album… so I’m kind of at a loss for what the name of this song is. They play it after about a minute of talking and occasionally referencing Syd Barrett, so I’m going to call it “The Song They Play After Talking About Syd Barrett.”

It’s a really nice song that sounds like the French Canadian lo-fi pop answer to Sigur Ros. Of course that could just be because it’s a slower song with great non-english vocals… I’m so American.
