Songs from Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavillion are slowly hitting the net and the reaction is overwhelmingly positive from what I’ve gathered. At least, it’s positive so far from YANP. “My Girls” starts off well enough, but really takes flight about 1/3 of the way into the track. This is one of those songs that make you feel like you’re falling into the speakers when you listen to it.
[note: "Brothersport" is still the song of 2009, though -- possibly to be beaten by Grizzly Bear's "While You Wait for the Others" studio version]
