UPDATE: First up is “Christmas Time is Here” from a Charlie Brown Christmas. Great choice and great performance. Now he’s on to “O Holy Night.” Another gem. I’m thinking my next holiday mix will just be this performance.

Daniel just said that he’ll be recording a new EP with Ben Sollee, produced and possibly guest-vocalled by Jim James of My Morning Jacket. He said it’ll be about mountaintop removal, a topic he’s very passionate about.
