Noah and the Whale: “Girlfriend in a Coma” (Smiths cover)

One day I’m going to compile a list of the toughest bands to cover. It won’t always be the best loved — Led Zep is fertile grounds for covering — but it’ll almost definitely be the bands with the most rabid fans. And surely, surely the Smiths must be among the ones at the top. Even so, Noah and the Whale gave it a great go with their take on “Girlfriend in a Coma.”
