[VIDEO] Stephen Colbert interviews Paul Simon, who then plays “American Tune”

Stephen nailed the extraordinarily brilliant songwriter Paul Simon last night, holding his feet to the fire for such crimes as using the word “groovy” in the 60s and “writing folk songs about freaky three-ways.” Take that, Paul Simon!

But there were no hard feelings, because after the nailing, Paul grabbed his guitar and played “American Tune” off his solo record There Goes Rhymin’ Simon.
