I remain skeptical until they start shooting the dang thing, but /Film has some info that might lead you to believe that the Arrested Development movie is actually going to happen!

Collider asked Tambor if he was sick of people asking about the Arrested Development movie and he replied with this surprising comment:

“Well no, because we’re doing it. We are going. It’s a go. I just actually this week talked to Mitch Hurwitz, so we’re doing it.”

So it looks like the stars might have aligned and we may be getting our wish. It’s funny; I originally didn’t want them to make a movie. I thought they wrapped it up well with the last four episodes and I didn’t want that to be potentially ruined. But after several years, I’d kill to see a movie. There are so many questions left unanswered. Will Michael ever find love? What does Buster’s chicken dance look like? Have have these rough economic times treated the Hot Cops?
