Saturday went pretty much as I’d planned it (plus the pleasant surprise of throwing the football in the park with some old friends!) and I didn’t get to see the awesome bill at the Dame of The Features, Wax Fang and Gentleman Auction House. In fact, I barely had time to swing by CD Central to catch three songs by the Features before I had to skedaddle back out.

All the songs I caught were off the Features’ new record Some Kind of Salvation and they all sounded great, even though I’d been hearing some of them for over a year live now. Still, a good thing never gets old. Here’s hoping they come back early in the new year to give me a chance to make up for my loss this weekend.
