Flaming Lips put their spin on NBC theme, guitar hero

The Flaming Lips are one of a few groups (including BB King and the B-52) that have been asked to offer 8-second version of NBC’s famous three-note chime. Stereogum points to this behind-the-scenes video where Wayne talks about the crazy stuff they’ve agreed to do over the years and shows off his new guitar hero double-neck guitar. God love that man.
