The Postelles: “123 Stop”

I’m so excited for my trip to New York next month that it’s apparently spilling over onto my musical tastes. Here’s a band I picked up from my friend Kathryn (also a New Yorker).

Within these two and a half minutes, you’ll find a little of Locksley, a bit of the Fratellis and few seconds of a section that reminds me of Toni Basil’s “Mickey.” Sounds like the recipe for a 2006 iPod commercial doesn’t it?
