I love Okkervil River, Daytrotter and Randy Newman, so excuse me if I gush. I promise it'll be quick.
Daytrotter -- enablers of all things amazing -- just posted a video of Okkervil River frontman Will Sheff playing a solo cover of Randy Newman's "Simon Smith and the Amazing Dancing Bear." This is a great treat to follow Okkervil River's new record
The Stand-Ins, which is one of my favorites of the year.
