Daytrotter — enablers of all things amazing — just posted a video of Okkervil River frontman Will Sheff playing a solo cover of Randy Newman’s “Simon Smith and the Amazing Dancing Bear.” This is a great treat to follow Okkervil River’s new record The Stand-Ins, which is one of my favorites of the year.
