The Splinters: “Splintered Bridges”

September 23rd, 2008 by Matt

Matt Skatterbrain is one of the few bloggers who always has my ear. He’s like if you sliced out the pop-loving side of my brain and gave it free reign over my entire skull. And you know what? I almost enjoy it when that happens.

MP3: The Splinters – Splintered Bridges
Those of you who are familiar with Skatterbrain probably don’t need any explanation of what to expect here. Matt’s nothing if not reliable. But for the rest of you, I’ll lend a hand. “Splintered Bridges” is some fun, quick jangle-pop in the vein of All Girl Summer Fun Band. And Matt’s right too: there’s a bit of 90s K grrrl rattling around in there too. Totally fun and totally cool.
