Remember how I was laughing about going to both the Hotpipes show and These United States’ show the other day? Well, it didn’t turn out quite as well as I hoped. I wound up only being able to see like four songs of the Hotpipes’ before I had to skeedaddle.

What I did see what great, though. Their new album Future Bolt is one of the best albums to come out anywhere near Kentucky; their show was about as great as that would imply. They rocked through three of their new songs before I had to reluctantly tear myself away from the show.
