I hadn’t intended on catching A Place to Bury Strangers — I already saw them at our Hot Freaks! event at SXSW — but I’m glad I did. APTBS are three guys who, were they in other bands, would be the guy you come away from a show saying “man, that bassist/guitarist/drummer was going nuts!. So put them all on stage together and you’ve got a crazy explosion that comes close to capturing how I felt about seeing Death From Above 1979 years ago.
