Black Lips @ Lollapalooza 8.01.08

The Black Lips were a great start to my Lollapalooza 2008 experience. It was my first time seeing the band, so I was understandably excited.

The band took the stage quickly, throwing on their instruments and jumping into their set. People around me seemed a little too sun-dazed to dance, but those immediately in front of the stage went absolutely wild — especially when the beginning riff of “Katrina” kicked in.
