Elf Power @ Pitchfork 7.19.08
For the second time in two weeks I was treated to a sweet set by Elf Power. After their great show in Lexington on Wednesday, I was even more excited to catch them. While waiting for them, I struck up a conversation with one guy in the front row who said he wasn't especially in love with Elf Power, but he was a fan of Derek's bass playing, so that made him "a fan by default." We Elephant 6 fans are so wacky.

Elf Power were good, yet again; "Spiral Stairs" was good, yet again. I loved that song when I first heard it, but it's only seemed to grow on me more and more since then. Andrew sure knows how to write a darn good song.
