Fleet Foxes @ Pitchfork 7.19.08
July 20th, 2008 by Matt

When my boss at the record store came back from a trip to the northwest, all he told me was that I had to see Fleet Foxes live. He’s rarely one to rave about new bands, so I knew they had to be something special. After enjoying their EP the Sun Giant and self-titled debut, I was really looking forward to catching them at Pitchfork.
MP3: Fleet Foxes – White Winter Hymnal
Ah, I do love harmonies. Fleet Foxes started things off with some beautiful three part harmonies before launching into a great set. They sounded like My Morning Jacket occasionally mixed with Sigur Ros.
