George Carlin died yesterday at the age of 71. Ironically I was begging my manager yesterday to let me put on one of his records at work (we’re not supposed to listen to comedy albums). Though Steve Martin was my childhood favorite, I was raised on Carlin’s cleaner routines like the Hippy Dippy Weather Man (Tonight’s forecast… dark!) and will miss him.
