Oh man. I don’t remember the last time I saw two guitarist have so much fun while being so good. Probably when Wilco closed Voodoo 2007 with an epic and awesome dueling-guitars version of “Hoodoo Voodoo.” But Jack and Brendan amped up every song from their past two records with squealing guitars and thudding bass. Like, seriously thudding bass. Like, they must’ve slipped the sound guy a hunskie to let them turn the bass up that loud in the mix. It was awesome.
