I’ve never been a big Jose Gonzalez fan. I like what he does with his covers, but I’ve never exactly felt tuned in to his original material. So while I didn’t love what I saw of his set at Bonnaroo, I don’t know that it was exactly his fault. I rarely ever like solo artists at festivals; I’m more of a full band, wild performance kind of guy.
