Taken during Tilly and the Wall’s Daytrotter video chat during Noise Pop
Tilly and the Wall’s new record is either untitled or named O depending on who you ask. What won’t change from person to person is the opinion that this record is pretty darn sweet. While Tilly’s debut helped energize me enough to do yard work the summer before I went to college (has it really been that long?), this new record is a little more solid. Better? I don’t know that I’d go that far, but it’s really great to hear.
MP3: Tilly and the Wall – Pot Kettle Black
“Pot Kettle Black” is just tailor made for Mean Girls. It’s punchy, catchy and points out that girl talk usually comes full circle. However, since that movie has already come and gone, they’ll have to wait until some teenage comedy gets enough of a brain to appeal to pretty much everyone. Maybe don’t hold your breath on that one, Tilly. Until then you can enjoy the cheerleader on acid chorus and picture your friends talking behind your back.
