Mad crazy sloppy thanks go to Discobelle for reminding me how great Wale is. Chris drug me to one of his shows at Noise Pop in San Fran and I enjoyed his stuff but couldn’t really make out any lyrics or anything. Since then I’ve slowly amassed a few of his tunes and think he could be my favorite rapper of 2008.

“W.A.L.E.D.A.N.C.E.” is, as you probably guessed, a mixtape track of his featuring backing by Justice’s most ubiquitous of tunes. The video is a lighthearted poke at the “D.A.N.C.E.” video, with nothing but happiness the whole way. Toss this on your memorial day weekend playlist and see everyone’s heads start to bob. Also you’ve got to give props to anyone who references PCP and Zach Morris in a row.
