Casper and the Cookies are ready to rock their hometown

After weeks of waiting, the lineup for the 2008 Athens Popfest is here. It’s packed with heavy live favorites like Dark Meat, the Circulatory System and Fishboy, but also crammed with up-and-commers like Lexington’s own Noisycrane! Should be a fun time. Now I just need to plan my summer finances better so I can attend. The past two years I bought tickets in May but didn’t keep enough money by August to actually get to the festival. Ah, well.

For those of you smarter than myself, Popfest takes place between August 13-16. You can buy a full pass to all the shows for $60.
