Every friend I have who lives in England, has British blood or just enjoys bland food has been raving about Yeasayer’s performance on Jools Holland. The Kooks apparently thought they stole the show, and though I haven’t seen the Kooks’ performance, I have to agree. Yeasayer’s just one more reason I’m looking forward to Lollapalooza this year.

And though, yeah, Yeasayer do more with the beautiful-but-sterile environment of Jools Holland than most bands do with intimate clubs or stadium arenas, I still have to say that they’re at their best in this stripped-down video from La Blogotheque’s Take Away Show.
