Just got the new M’s record the other day and it’s some good stuff. Real Close Ones is out this summer on Polyvinyl, but here’s a sneak peek at what we’ve got to look forward to.

I enjoy Real Close Ones, but in a completely different way than I liked their last record, Future Women. Whereas the last one hit like late T.Rex, this crunches along like early Elf Power. This song, in particular sounds like something that would have been on When the Red King Comes, or even the Elves’ new record In a Cave. But like I said, I think it’s great, especially the mid-song horn transition.
