This is the only one I have so far where the main instrument is a guitar. Weird how just that change (from the Jerk’s composition — I can’t remember how the Gene Clark one is played) turns it from what could be a late 80s twee song into an early 50s style country tune. It’s not hard to imagine Hank Williams picking this one out in front of a few friends.
