Here’s a mix I never thought I’d hear. To give you a feel for the unlikeliness of the pairing, imagine Times New Viking covering the Rembrants or Death From Above 1979 doing a Cindy Lauper tune. Freaky, huh? Still, it’s just sooo good.

MP3: Intelligence – Message of Love (The Pretenders)
Oh the fuzz and the fury. Even through the roughness of this song, Intelligence manage to sneak in some melody. After the chorus cry of “message of loooooove!” they toss in a fairly clean guitar riff that I can only assume was in the original (I’ve never heard it). Such a good cover. The A-side to this is a Dylan cover that I’m now just dieing to hear.
