The obvious, have-to-mention thing here is that, what with Kelly being female, vocal parts are gender flip-flopped. Kind of funny, considering that the original uses the genders to throw you a little curve ball. Aside from that, Kelly’s cover is a good one. I’ve always thought that this song could one day have a future being covered as a duet between two country singers, and Kelly’s version only backs up that idea.
