Today I again inquired to WAS’ Keith Murray if he would be at SXSW. Unfortunately it looks like they’ll be touring Europe in March in support of their new album Brain Thrust Mastery, which is out March 17 in the UK. Until they make it back home to the US, here’s the radio rip of their new single.

Nope, it isn’t a Velvet Underground cover. Sorry to let you down. It is, however, the new track from We Are Scientists. It’s catchy and a bit different from their first record, but still nice. My only complaint is that the lead guitar lick could/should be given some distortion and pushed up in the mix. Right now it sounds like it’s adding its two cents, rather than slamming down its buck o-five.
