This is such a fantastic, defiant, uplifting, empowering song. If I ever do a movie about a sassy, independent female who likes good music (Juno: the college years), you better bet this’ll play as the credits role. Death Cab for Cutie have never been one of my favorite bands, but if they manage this kind of dynamic balance on their next record, I’ll be first in line.
